The Game Of My Life By Steven Bickley

I feel the wind flying through my hair.
I get a freezing shiver down my spine.
Everyone is cheering.
But I don't hear a sound.
My concentration is finally working.
All I hear now is the umpire telling me to hurry up.

Everyone in the team wanted this glory.
But the coach had to give it to me.
I didn't want it I just wanted to play the game.
If I make this shot at goal I will be in the team book.
If I miss the coach will discipline me for eternity.
The team would give me the nickname misplace!

I look at the goals.
They look back.
I line my mark and I kick high into the ir.
It comes back down like a missile heading straight for the goals.
It drops in the goals like a Luke Darcy kick.

I start running like mad.
I hear the roar of the crowd again!
The team lifts me up in the air.
I feel like a aeroplane.
I also feel like a king.
The coach runs up and threw me up in the air.
Then he catches me! I'm the winner me yes me I am a winner! A champion too!
