Terrible, just terrible, it feels like the boat is sinking,


Terrible, just terrible, since the war has taken my mum,


Terrible, just terrible, Dad and I have been on the run,

Terrible, just terrible, I sigh as my spirit falls,


Terrible, just terrible, my father says that we’ll be glad,
